This year (2026-27, we have launched our new Handwriting Scheme called Kinetic Letters. Kinetic Letters achieves handwriting automaticity through systematic development of the necessary physical and cognitive skills. This means that once children have mastered the formation of the letters, all the attention of the brain can be on the writing content - what they are writing about.

All staff have received training on the programme and we are already seeing positive results! Please see below the examples from the Kinetic Letters website to show examples of 2 children's progress.
